Hi Todd,

I finished this cake last night. This is a three layer yellow cake with
silver studded gumpaste letters.

Have a nice weekend.

So I was at the grocery store this evening, wandering around the produce section,
and got hit by a lightning bolt of inspiration. The result:

Avocado Black Bean Salsa

Nothing about this is exact, it's mostly up to you and your tastes
(and how many people you want to feed it to) for how much of everything you use.

Tomatoes
Avocado
Onion (yellow or red, either would be great)
Cilantro
Black beans
Lime
Salt

Use whatever proportions of the ingredients you like, but make sure you're not shy with the lime,
it needs that citrus punch (plus it keeps the avocado from browning). Also, I didn't add it tonight cuz
I didn't think about it in time, but a little jalepeno would be really good in this.

My husband liked it so much he said he could have eaten the whole bowl with a spoon! Enjoy!

So I know, it sounds disgusting, but I love love love this when I'm feeling sick, because it's warm and full of booze! Yay!

Boil some water. While it's heating, combine 2 shots of whiskey (I like southern style, like Jack Daniel's, but my Dad likes Canadian style whiskey, so it's all taste preference) juice of about a quarter of a large lemon (fresh is best, but if you have the bottled kind that's OK too) and about a teaspoon of sugar (or more if you like) in a large-ish mug. Add the hot water and enjoy. Like I said, it sounds kind of gross, but it's like Theraflu with alcohol, so what the hell. It'll warm you right up!
