Dear Todd,

Here is a tasty recipe that I love because people think you went to a lot of trouble for them, but in reality...it's a snap.  You'll love it because it's so yummy.  Try it next time YOU want to show off a little.  I live in Los Angeles and love to feed my homies good stuff.

Show Off Taco Noodles

serves 3 or 4

8 oz.  fettuccine, cooked according to the package directions, and drained--set aside
2 cups cooked chicken, (can use TYSON cooked chicken strips)  cube it up--set aside
1/2 cup HEAVY whipping cream (it comes in the tiny lunchroom-size milk cartons)
4 teaspoons taco seasoning mix (i like LAWRYS)
4 Tablespoons Parmesan cheese
--garlic bread, optional

In a large saucepan, over medium-low heat--whisk cream and taco seasonings until blended well.  Cook and stir until thickened --about 6 minutes-- but do not boil.  Stir in Parmesan cheese.  Add drained fettuccine & chicken.  Toss well to coat evenly.  Serve with garlic bread and a smile.

Not really my recipe, but my husband made it with his kindergarten class and they had fun, so here you go!

Mud

Mix 1 box chocolate pudding mix according to directions on box to make chocolate pudding.

Mix chocolate pudding (see above) with 1 small tub whipped cream.

Crush up one package oreos or other chocolate sandwich cookies with vanilla cream (they crush really well in the Magic Bullet! – if you don’t know, you don’t watch enough infomercials)

Mix ½ of the crushed cookies in the pudding-whipped cream.

Put the mixture in your serving dish and sprinkle the rest of the crushed cookies on top.

You can add in some gummy worms for the real effect of eating dirt.  I prefer to eat the bag of gummy worms while making the dessert rather than mixing them in at the end…

Dear Todd,
I live in Los Angeles and love recipes that give me time to goof off.  This would be one of them.  No one would ever guess though--and that's what counts.  Hope you get the chance to try it and have a little extra time to yourself.

Lazy Man Sandwiches
Serves 4--or 2 total pigs

4 hoagie style rolls, split in half
1 pound roast beef, from your market deli--medium thickness sliced
3/4 cup Ragu spaghetti sauce, your favorite flavor (re-cap jar & save rest for another meal)
8 oz. shredded or thinly sliced Mozzarella cheese
Hot pepper rings, optional

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Put rolls on a baking sheet.  Put layers of roast beef on bottom half of rolls --dividing beef evenly, spoon some spaghetti sauce on top of beef and top with a big sprinkle of cheese. Do this to all the rolls  Bake for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.  Serve with pepper rings if you like.   Mmmmmmmmm.  I LOVE these!!

Aww, I was going to send in that dip recipe that RKH sent in.  She beat me.

Mine is:

1 package shredded cheese.

Cook at 350 for a while, stir, and serve.

So easy, and so yummie!
