Todd,
As a fellow dog owner, you should know that telling stories about the
wonderful things your pet does is never a problem...so here goes;
This is Luigi, he is a Bearded Collie (a.k.a. the shaggy dog, like Tim
Allen's alter furry-ego in the movie). Luigi is ridiculously cute, and
therefore he makes it hard for us to be upset with him for very long say if
he uses my brand new blackberry phone as a chew toy, or shreds paper towels
into a billion tiny peices, or tries to put our cat's head in his mouth.
Anywho, our new favorite story is about when we took him to our friends
house to stay for the weekend while my honey and I went away to get married
(the hotel we stayed at didn't allow dogs, and we didn't want to stess him
out, while we were busy being stressed out..nuff said there), and so as we
were making sure he was comfortable in his new surroundings, and got along
with our friends dog (also a Beardie, named Simba) they wanted to know
how Luigi was arround pools, and right as I was going to tell them about his
first pool/swimming experiance, we hear this loud splash! Gee, I wonder
what happened? It was about 7:30pm, and duskie to dark outside,
and obviously Luigi did not realize there was a pool where the pool was, and
there he was swimming back toward us as we were running out to the back
yard. We figured he went running out to where ever he was going, becuase he
was a few feet away from the edge of the pool. Our friend pulled him out,
while Al and I were blushing, and apologizing, and secretly praying
to ourselves that this wouldn't become and ongoing occurence (he wouldn't go
near the pool afterwords, not even with treat taunting).
And there you have it...oh yeah, we also have a cat named Steve that we
rescued. He was a kitten and we found on our doorstep, literally, and well
I love kittens, and I took him in, and Al loves animals in general, and
Steve and Luigi play, play, play...Steve thinks he is a big as Luigi, and
often gets the best of him.
Luigi is a year and a half old, and loves carrots, apples and
pupperonies, and cheese, and Steve is almost a year old and is always trying
to eat the dog food, and sometimes he bites my head, which is weird, and
funny, and sometimes hurts...oh well. I love them both more than anything,
they make my day...everyday.
chow for now

She was adopted so have no idea what she's
made of. She's a tennis
ballaholic, loves to hang her head out the window when going for a
ride but she barks at trucks, bicyclists, joggers -you name it, and she
loves to snuggle. She loves to take my bras and shake and stretch them
and show them off to my neighbors.(she has a doggie door so I can't
control what she takes outside with her when I'm not looking!)
I love her!
