MoNDaY'S

You're
annoyed! Totally! So vent! Then relax.... Send em
here!
(Also if you are annoyed at a previous annoyance please
include the link to the page
to the other annoyance.)
---------------------------------------------------
I've seen a lot of annoyed people explain that
"alot" isn't a word. They are
correct.
"Alright" ISN'T, EITHER.
It is "ALL RIGHT."
I don't give a damn that your particular edition of Microsoft Word didn't
put the red sqiggly line underneath your stupidity. That probably only
happened because some idiot using the computer before you ADDED it into the
dictionary because, for some reason, they think they're smarter than the
English language.
Thanks, Todd.

P.S.- EFFECT is a noun. AFFECT is a word. They are NOT interchangeable.
Learn the difference.

Hey Todd, I had to respond to this
blogger:
Refinancing my home. All loan officers are C*&*^& sucker bastards. The
trick works like this. They give you a statement what the loan is going to cost
(Good Faith Statement). Looks Good? Yes? Okay now they get you to pay for
an appraisal, ($350), But it has to be in assigned to their company, so if you
change your mind at the closing table you can't use the appraisal for a
different loan without there permission. So your over the barrel. Here are
the fees I love
Processing fee $498- what the hell are they processing, it not like there
making a deer into sausage, all their doing is looking at a few papers.
Thisis the process, he has a good credit score and the appraisal is high
enough, approved or denied. BS (not bs. There are many steps to processing a
mortgage loan. From getting payoffs from your current lender, to ordering
title, clearing title, setting up escrow, locking interest rates, ordering
appraisal, clearing lender conditions, making phone calls, etc. the average
processor spends approx 6-8 hours on a file from start to close. For this
they normally only get a portion of the processing fee.
Underwriters fee-What the hell is that and why does it cost $660? BS
(Underwriters fee is a 3rd party fee charged by the lender, NOT the broker.
The broker has NO control over what fees the lender charges. The OP can
console himself by knowing that he probably got a lower rate by paying the
higher fee)
Application fee $350. Wasn't that covered in the processing? BS (a 350 fee
is not much considering the size of the loan. It can also be called an
Admin fee. And it really is a standard fee)
Witness closing fee-$175 At least its creative. BS (charged by the escrow
company for their notary service. Again, not the brokers fault.)
Imaging courier wiring-$165 Really meaning, they are sending a fax. BS
(government fees. Imaging is to put the note and deed of trust on microfilm
for storage at the county, courier fee is to pay the courier to run the
documents to the courthouse for recording, and the wire fee is paid to the
federal reserve for the wire transfer)
So Almost $2000 in BS. Loan officers response "these are standard loan
cost"
Than after all this they have the nerve to charge a $1570 origination fee.
Like this fee is somehow different. F&*^*(&^eeeeeeeeeeers (this is probably
all he got paid, and most likely had to split it with the company he works
for)
Okay now your at the closing table and your kinda depending on the money,
time for The Good Faith F-ing. It could go either way, but surprise
surprise there is $800 charge in their favor. Bastards. And at this point I am
too
much of a pussy to turn it down because I really need to money. So I grab
for my crumbs and scamper off with my tail between my legs.
But don't feel too sorry for me, I got the money to buy an under valued
beach property form an old lady that lives out of town and does not know
the real value. Yes, I am going to Hell, but a least I will have a good tan and
maybe I can watch my loan officers suffer too.
RMac
PS And after all this the credit reporting companies sell your name to all
the other Mortgage brokers so you get endless spam and telephone calls that
go like this. "Hey Ray how are you doing?" like they know you. "this is so
and so with Sucker Turd Mortgage, we heard your shopping for a loan"
Grrrrrrrrrrr
Bottom line, if you don't like the costs associated with purchasing and
refinancing property you own, then you should rent. I mean, come on, you
get paid for what you do for a living, right? Why do you think the loan officer
shouldn't?

Sorry that the cable company people are
being dicks. That totally blows.
What is it about cable companies that makes them such scuzzy liars? When we
moved, the cable guy was supposed to come to switch us over, and that
bastard never showed up! When I called to complain, the lady contacted the
guy, and apparently he claimed we were not home, and that he left a note on
the door. BS...we were home all the live-long day, no one came, no note.
So yeah...I been there, too. I hope they get their shit together and get
your cable fixed!
Oh, and I just noticed that "cable outage" is only one letter away from
"cable outrage". Coincidence? I think not!
I like your site...keep up the great work,
Karen

Well guess you prolly know, but I'm in a rural area...
just lucky to have
ANY high speed. A few weeks ago I turn on my lifeline to the outstide
world and, yup, you guessed it, no connection. Call the peeps and they want me
to re-do all (all the things I've done 5 times to check my own equipment)..
And they determine that they can log into the internet using my pw so therefore
I must be some kind of idiot and they'll get back to me in a couple of
days.
Come to find out - they had a broken line somewhere in BFE and it required
calls from a few of us out here b4 they figured out it was their prob!!
Then they call me 3 times to tell me my internet is working again. One lady was
so excited to tell me that my internet was working and I probably didn't
even know it was down. I politely informed her that I had spent two hours
on the phone with the techs 2 days before .. And NO INDEED, they had not
fixed the problem YET because I could see from across the room that my DSL
light was still NOT on. so please, lady, get a little less excited. and let
the techies know I still do NOT have a connection. (I wasn't really that
rude to her 'cause after all, it wasn't her fault that they told her they
fixed the problem. she was just the messenger) Took 'em a couple of days,
but one day I got home from work, and lo and behold, I had three little
green lites... woo hoo.
Hope they figure out YOUR prob soon.
TTFN - Pat
