Although what annoys me will have a simultaneous opposite affect on many of your other readers, here it goes anyway. I want to keep my car for as long as I can and don't like to get speeding tickets, so I drive the speed limit. The sign on the interstate exit that says 30 mph means the curve was meant to be taken at 30 mph. I don't care if you drive something else that can take it faster. MY vehicle can't, so you're going to go 30 mph if you're behind me, and you can flash your lights and ride my bumper all you want to, but I'm not going to speed up. Likewise on a straight stretch of road. Whatever the sign says, that's what I drive. I've been zoomed around, lights flashed at, horns honked, flipped off, screamed at from open vehicle windows, and driven off the road on several occasions. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE??? "I" drive like a normal, insurance-holding, want-to-live-to-see-my-401K-plan-actually-pay-out-in-person. You idiots who drive like it's a contest or something or you woke up too late to get somewhere should figure out a better way to live.

I am annoyed by the person who wrote in to tell us all that she can't tolerate any other people riding with her on public transportation.  I believe she pointed out that she hated babies, children, adults, older folks and people sitting next to her.  Uh-- get a CLUE! 
 
Public transportation was designed to move multiple people to multiple places.  If you're that obnoxious of a misanthrope, BUY your OWN car!  Do you Really think that bus is on the road just for YOU?
 
I also am annoyed by folks who can not spell.
 
I have a good "getting back at someone who pisses you off" idea tho.  I had forgotten about this until someone reminded me that 20 years ago when a friend stole my job and my boyfriend in the same week I got her back.  I called the coroner's office, told them I was her and that her father was dead in the living room so the coroner and the police went over to her house to collect the "body."

Yes! Absolutely Im annoyed. Im annoyed at that narrow minded letter from that girl named Teresa. GOD FORBID that girl should have to swallow her pride to spare the feelings of another guy. And if she feels that she has to be phoney just to get by in a situation like that, well then thats her fault, not his. If a person has struggled just to build up enough courage to show his sincere affections twords you in the form of a corny joke or a nervous compliment, the least you can do is show them sincerity in return. To summerize, thats human nature, get used to it.

Here are a couple things that annoy me today . . .
 
  1. The Big Three forcing people drive their cars if they work at their company, or if you don't drive one of their cars you have to park 80 miles away. Why is it they think this is a good idea? Instead of making cars people WANT to drive they want to force employees to drive their cars. I don't think its Ford, GM, or Chrysler's business what kind of car I drive as long as I come to work everyday and do a dang awesome job for them. Does McDonalds make their employees only eat at their restaurant? If you work at Walmart can you only shop there?? Here is an idea - Ok you want to make me drive a Ford if I work for you, then sign this contract that says you will employee me until that vehicle is paid off. Jerks.
     
  2. Myself as I could not say no to that big fat chicken burrito for lunch today. Hey maybe that 80 mile walk will help out with that.

I am annoyed by "Big B." who rants about "waitering" (http://oddtodd.com/annoy25.html).

First of all, "waitering" is not a word.

Second, this ignorant little shit claims that we shouldn't eat at a restaurant if we can't afford at least a 10-15% tip. Since when was this a requirement? I wonder what the owner/manager of this establishment thinks about this claim? I usually tip at least 10%, sometimes more, sometimes less, but I do it without assuming it is required. Why? Because it isn't required! If you can't afford the tip, eat anyway. Hopefully you can stiff the greedy bastard who goes by "Big B" in Texas.

Third, this person bitches about their job way too much. There is a reason you get tips. It's because you are supposed to put up with the kind of shit you describe, e.g., rude people, stupid people, slow people, etc. Get a clue.

Fourth, since you are obviously too young to understand this, I will make it very clear. 5 year olds make huge friggin' messes. That's what they do. Parents don't have to encourage this. It happens. If you ever have children (I can only hope that your tainted genetic spore is never propagated) you will understand.

Big B., Quit bitchin' and grow up!
